With Aldermanic election on Feb. 26, 2019, we plan to develop HOLS’s position statement regarding zoning and development in our core area, and in the broader 40th and 47th wards.

At our September meeting, we will:

• Identify planning/development principles/goals already adopted by the Board.

• Identify key zoning/development issues of concern to Board / Committee and tentative thoughts on those issues.  

• Discuss role of Alderman in zoning and planning issues and available zoning/development tools.

• Examine mission statements adopted by other community groups /organizations in other areas of the City for use as samples.
